Data for journalists: Zagreb Stock Exchange figures, free with attribution

Burzovni list maintains a structured database on the Zagreb Stock Exchange. Some of it exists publicly, but not in a form that can be processed — so we compute it ourselves, from official sources. This page describes what is available to journalists, where it comes from, and the terms under which it may be used.

What is available

Ownership structures. Mandatory pension fund holdings per share, broken down by fund. We currently cover 41 ZSE-listed shares.

Dividend calendar. Announcements and payments by ex-date, with amount per share, yield and payment continuity across years. The source is the issuers' official EHO filings. The calendar is publicly available on the dividends page.

Liquidity and turnover. Number of transactions, turnover and number of days traded, per share and per period. This is the figure that explains why a percentage move in a thinly traded share does not mean the same thing as in a liquid one.

ZSE-listed ETFs. Composition, weights and concentration — how much of the assets sit outside the top ten positions.

Indices. Daily and weekly changes for all Zagreb Stock Exchange indices, including the sector ones.

A per-share overview with this data is in the screener.

Where the data comes from

Primary sources are official: the Zagreb Stock Exchange daily price list, official index data, and issuers' EHO filings. We do not take figures from aggregator sites or from other media.

Derived values are always labelled as derived. For example, we compute the previous close from the closing price and the percentage change, so such a value carries rounding. The calculation method is described on our methodology page.

When a figure has not been retrieved, our texts say it has not been retrieved. We do not fill gaps with estimates.

Terms of use

You may use the data free of charge, raw or processed, under two conditions:

  1. Attribution — "Burzovni list", with a link to burzovnilist.com or to the specific page the figure came from.
  2. Unchanged meaning — if you shorten or round a figure, keep the caveats that belong to it. The most common one concerns transaction counts: a percentage move in a share with two transactions and one in a share with 150 transactions are not comparable quantities.

We do not ask to approve or review your text before publication.

What we can send on request

On request we send a data set as a table (CSV or Excel) with a description of the methodology and the as-of date. We can also arrange a regular weekly or monthly extract if that suits you better than individual requests.

If you need a figure not listed above, ask — we may already have it.
